So everyone knows that Wonderwall should have been song of year in 1996 (despite the fact that I could barely spell my own name at the time even I knew this).  This is just a great cover by Chan Marshall ... better know as Cat Power.  Her voice matches the song so well. Enjoy.

 

So as usual these days the semester hits and suddenly I am missing great music for not days or weeks.. but months.  This came out a while ago but I am now in love with it.  Kid Cudi just makes great music and of course MGMT and Ratatat are awesome.  Honestly this song is like a unicorn farting rainbows... its great downbeat hip-hop. Was walking through the East Village the other day and stumbled upon this little bit of graffiti.

This is just a crazy view.

I always love this kind of visual trickery.  This is usually done with tilt-shift photography, but I don't know if Keith Loutit used other methods to get the incredibly high depth of field which is usually associated with a macro lens (and therefore look miniature).  Anyway its a fun video, enjoy.

Just came across this video / remix of Nude by Radiohead.  While the sound isn't particularly pleasing, it's visually awesome.  Plus it includes old electronics, which of course I love.
