Was walking through the East Village the other day and stumbled upon this little bit of graffiti.

Stop Motion High Depth Video, aka Cool Looking Miniaturization of Real Life

I always love this kind of visual trickery.  This is usually done with tilt-shift photography, but I don't know if Keith Loutit used other methods to get the incredibly high depth of field which is usually associated with a macro lens (and therefore look miniature).  Anyway its a fun video, enjoy.

'Interesting' Remix of Nude by Radiohead

Just came across this video / remix of Nude by Radiohead.  While the sound isn't particularly pleasing, it's visually awesome.  Plus it includes old electronics, which of course I love.

Click, Click, Click, Click - Bishop Allen [Summer Grooving]

Bishop+Allen.jpg

This is an upbeat indie pop tune from the Brooklyn based group Bishop Allen.  Honestly this song deserves a convertible, a little fisheye camera, and a bright country road.  Enjoy.

The Very Best featuring Ezra Koenig from Vampire Weekend [Summer Tunes]

The Very Best (aka Radioclit + Esau Mwamwaya = Euro DJ Group + Malawian singer = awesome) is a tropical feeling group out of England.  This summer tune is off their Debut LP coming later this year, Warm Heart Of Africa.  Enjoy this groove.

You can download the song at: http://www.abeano.com/blog/the-very-bestezra-from-vampire-weekend

WE|T PAIN|T

Was walking through the subway and saw that someone had transformed the 'wet paint' sign into something way more hilarious. Enjoy.

Silliness in the Halls

This is a poster I found in my hallway. I thought it was too funny to find a gratuitous Harry Potter poster randomly. The stars on the "i"s are my favorite part. Enjoy. I hope you can read it.

Yooouuutuuube, aka video tiling for youtube

So this is just a cool site that displays a youtube video as a tiled sequence of the video and updates the tiles one by one.  It ends up being a really cool effect, especially for music, (instantly less bland music video).  Enjoy the site: http://www.yooouuutuuube.com/ Just paste in the link to a youtube video and it does the rest.

Here is an awesome example: http://www.yooouuutuuube.com/v/?rows=18&cols=18&id=pAwR6w2TgxY&startZoom=1
